Item Configuration | Ready-to-Use for QB & OX Inventory πŸ› οΈ

FRKN-Camera comes with fully customizable items, including the Signal Cutter, used to disable or break surveillance cameras. You can easily add it to either QB-Inventory or OX-Inventory using the configurations below.

πŸ“ QB-Inventory Item Config#

lua
signalcutter = {
    name = "signalcutter",
    label = "Signal Cutter",
    weight = 100,
    type = "item",
    image = "signalcutter.png",
    unique = true,
    useable = true,
    description = "Used to disrupt or disable camera systems."
},
camerarepairkit = {
    name = "camerarepairkit",
    label = "Camera Repair Kit",
    weight = 150,
    type = "item",
    image = "camerarepairkit.png",
    unique = true,
    useable = true,
    description = "Used to repair broken or disabled camera systems."
}

βœ… Add this to your qb-core/shared/items.lua file.
βœ… Ensure the image file signalcutter.png exists in your inventory images folder.

πŸ“ OX-Inventory Item Config#

For OX Inventory, use the following format inside your data/items.lua:

lua
['signalcutter'] = {
    label = 'Signal Cutter',
    weight = 100,
    stack = false,
    close = true,
    description = 'Used to disrupt or disable camera systems.',
    client = {
        image = 'signalcutter.png'
    }
},
['camerarepairkit'] = {
    label = 'Camera Repair Kit',
    weight = 150,
    stack = false,
    close = true,
    description = 'Used to repair broken or disabled camera systems.',
    client = {
        image = 'camerarepairkit.png'
    }
}

βœ… Place the signalcutter.png image inside your OX images directory (ox_inventory/web/images/items)
βœ… Set stack = false to make it a unique-use tool (recommended)

🎯 Tips:

  • You can use metadata with signalcutter if you want to track serials or usage count
  • Rename item in the config if you’re using a different internal name (e.g., "cutter_tool")
