The 3D map lifts the camera above the player so they can fly over the city, set waypoints, and manage blips. Open it from the pause menu with 3D Map.
While it's open, other players, peds, and vehicles are hidden locally so the view stays clean (your own vehicle stays visible). Toggle each one under camera in Configuration.
The map closes automatically if the player dies. ESC closes it and goes straight back to the game.

The bottom-left corner shows the zone, street, and altitude under the camera.
Blips panel#
The panel on the right lists every blip, grouped by type:
| Group | Who sees it | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Mine | Only you | Blips you created |
| Shared | You and the owner | Blips other players shared with you |
| Global categories | Everyone | Created by admins in-game |
| Config categories | Everyone | threeDMap.categories in config |
- Blips with the same name and icon are stacked into one row — use the < > arrows to cycle through them.
- The eye icon on a row hides it from the 3D view. The eye icon in the header collapses the whole panel.
- The search bar at the top finds blips by name and shows the 3 closest. Click a result to fly there.
Creating a blip#
- Press Create in the blips panel.
- Click a spot on the map.
- Fill in the form:
- Blip Name (up to 48 characters)
- Icon — searchable list of GTA blip sprites
- Blip colour — GTA colours 0–85
- Show on 2D Map — also adds it to the regular map and minimap, with Scale and Short range options
- Press Place.
Limits from config:
| Option | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
maxMarkers | 16 | Max blips one player can own (shared blips don't count) |
createCooldown | 30000 | Wait (ms) before creating another blip |
Blips are saved to the database per character. There's no edit option — delete the blip and create a new one.
Sharing#
- Select one of your blips and press Share.
- Enter the target's Server ID.
- The target gets a request in their blips panel and can Accept or Decline.
- The target must be online. There's no distance limit.
shareCooldown(default30000ms) applies between requests.- Your blip card lists who has access — remove someone with the X next to their name.
- Only the owner can delete a shared blip. Deleting it removes it for everyone it was shared with.
Global blips (admin)#
Admins see a Create Global button. Global blips work like personal ones, but:
- Every player sees them, right away.
- They're grouped under a category you pick or type in (for example "Garages").
- No cooldown and no limit.
- Admins can delete them and use Copy Blip to place a copy somewhere else.
Who counts as admin:
- Framework admins (ESX
admin/superadmin/godgroups, QBCore admin or god permission, QBXadminACE) - Anyone with the ACE from
threeDMap.adminAce(default0r-pausemenu.globalblips)
After giving someone the ACE, they need to reopen the 3D map for the button to show up.
