Restaurant#
A configured business with its own profile, staff, recipes, world locations and business records.
Two restaurants can use similar products while keeping their stock, money and staff separate. Select the correct restaurant before editing or taking an order. See Create and Edit.
Global administrator#
A player with the server ACE capability configured for Restaurant management.
This permission allows creation and configuration across restaurants. It does not automatically make the player an active kitchen employee. Add the character to the roster when testing staff-only physical interactions. See Permissions.
Owner#
The restaurant role with configuration and business-finance authority.
An owner can configure their restaurant and manage its prices and banking. Physical kitchen and storage actions also require active staff access. See Staff roles.
Manager#
An active staff role that can operate the kitchen, handle orders and read financial summaries.
Manager does not grant owner-level restaurant configuration, pricing, bank transfers or detailed financial records. Use the role table in Staff Members and Roles.
Employee#
An active staff member who can cook, use authorized storage and handle restaurant orders.
The role does not grant restaurant configuration or banking access. A visible management page is not proof of permission for every action. See Staff roles.
Active staff#
A character with an active entry in the restaurant's staff list.
Membership is character-specific. The restaurant must also be enabled and the action must meet its distance, world instance and publication requirements. See Staff setup.
Character identity#
The framework character identifier used to bind ownership, staff membership, payments and orders.
This is not the temporary player server ID. A reconnect or character switch can change the current character; do not enter a server ID where the form asks for a persistent character identifier. See Permissions.
ACE permission#
A server permission used to authorize a capability such as global Restaurant management.
The permission name in the Restaurant config must match an effective server ACE grant. Being a txAdmin user alone does not establish this grant. See the exact ACE example.
Enabled restaurant#
A restaurant whose published activation state allows its normal world features to run.
Enabled is separate from accepting new customer orders. You can close new sales while finishing existing orders. See Activation.
