Locations, Objects and Interactions

Explain points, objects, targets and mobile service.

Management point#

The configured location associated with restaurant management access.

Keep management, customer menu and packaging locations conceptually separate. They serve different users and server checks. See Locations.

A published point where customers open that restaurant's menu and their order view.

A restaurant can have several named menu locations. Opening this menu binds checkout and pickup to the current restaurant and point. See Customer Menu.

Packaging Point#

The staff location used for product packaging and Restaurant storage access.

Storage opens through this point; it is not an inventory-provider stash shortcut. See Product Storage.

Operation Point#

An independent placed work location supplying a custom operation to eligible recipes.

One point can serve multiple matching recipes but can hold only one manual production per world instance at a time. See Operation Points.

Point mode#

Placement that uses a world interaction or work pose without adding a permanent station object.

For a custom work point, place the operation tool at its intended contact pose. Existing map furniture remains separate. See Placement.

Object mode#

Placement that creates a configured permanent station model at a saved transform.

Custom work-point placement sets the station first and its work/tool pose next. The model must be valid and non-empty. See Placement.

Transform#

An object's position and rotation in the world or relative to its station.

Height and tilt matter as well as heading. Place a cooking surface at food contact rather than at the floor under the cooker. See Placement.

Target interaction#

A selectable world option provided by a supported target system.

Seeing an option does not grant authority; the server rechecks the player and action. TextUI is an alternative for supported fixed interactions. Mobile features require target support. See Providers.

TextUI interaction#

A nearby text/key prompt used for supported fixed restaurant interactions.

The prompt uses its configured provider and current location. It does not replace mobile vehicle/cart targets. See General Settings.

Routing bucket#

The FiveM world instance in which a player and their restaurant work are being evaluated.

People at the same coordinates in different instances do not necessarily share the same batch or interaction. See Kitchen troubleshooting.

Mobile instance#

One player-owned serving cart or vehicle created through a published mobile recipe.

Its food, serving sides and movement belong to that instance. An installed spawn point is not the same thing as a live spawned cart. See Mobile Serving.

LMB#

LMB means the left mouse button.

In product preparation it commonly selects a source or commits the offered ingredient/gesture. Follow the current on-screen action label. See the Product Guides.

RMB#

RMB means the right mouse button.

Its meaning depends on the product. Many ingredient views return a held preview before undoing a layer; Coffee can use it for a second machine operation. Read the specific Product Guide.

HUD#

HUD means the on-screen guidance showing the current stage, progress and available controls.

Read the active guidance before pressing a finish, undo or discard key. Different products can assign a different action to the same mouse button. See Shared Work.

World picker#

The temporary placement view used to select a real point or object pose in the game world.

Confirming it returns the pose to the owning form; you still apply the form, save and publish when changing gameplay. See World Placement.
