Resource#
A named FiveM package started by the server, such as 0r-restaurant.
Restaurant ships with a separate companion asset resource. Keep both original names and start the companion first. See Installation.
Provider#
An installed framework, inventory or interaction system used by Restaurant.
For example, ox_inventory stores and transfers items. Start the selected provider and check its compatibility before using Restaurant. See Providers.
Bridge#
The connection between Restaurant and another resource, such as your inventory.
A custom bridge must report whether an action completed or failed. If the result is unknown, report that error rather than repeating the action through another provider. See Custom Bridges.
OneSync#
The FiveM networking mode Restaurant needs for shared food props, stations and vehicles.
Enable OneSync in server.cfg before using mobile vehicles or shared food props. See Requirements.
Migration#
A database update that Restaurant runs during startup.
It runs after database readiness. A failed migration needs diagnosis; dropping existing data is not an upgrade procedure. See Database Startup.
NUI#
The in-game browser interface used by Restaurant panels and action overlays.
Use this interface to open the panel and follow preparation prompts. See Interaction problems.
Export#
A function that one FiveM resource makes available to another resource.
For Restaurant item use, add the export to the inventory item definition as shown in the setup guide. See Exports.
MLO or map#
The separately installed game environment in which a restaurant can be placed.
Restaurant supplies its systems and configured props. A map preset only supplies locations for a compatible environment. See Templates and Maps.
Activation phase#
The action required for an edited setting to take effect.
A panel draft uses Save draft and Publish; startup config needs its owning resource restarted; inventory item definitions need their provider reloaded. See Configuration File Map.
