Use active published staff at a placed Packaging Point, with eligible full finished products or bags available. Configure the product, location and package limits before testing order preparation.
There are two related workflows: manually turn inventory-held products into a delivery bag1, or prepare an order from stored products/bags. Produce the finished food before using either flow.
Manually package inventory products#
Approach the published Packaging Point as active staff and open Package Products. The first step lists eligible finished products actually held in your inventory.

Package Products first step with eligible inventory products, artwork and quantity selection.
- Select the products and logical quantities you want in the bag.
- Continue to Package contents.
- Review every line and the displayed item/line capacity.
- Use Create Package only when the contents are correct.
- Confirm that the selected products moved into one real inventory delivery bag.

The bag receives a unique package identity and its actual product contents. There is no packaging fee or extra minigame in this flow. Package limits belong to the installed packaging config; the review shows the current capacity. If you exceed the limit, reduce the selection or create separate bags.
Use or open a manual bag#
Use the real bag from its owned inventory slot. The supported actions let the holder carry/put away, deliver nearby, or open it where allowed. Opening returns the contained products to inventory. Cancelling a carry does not destroy the inventory bag.
A product box, such as a Pizza box, remains a finished product. The delivery bag can contain those boxed products. Opening a bag does not reset a product's saved partial-consumption counter.
Prepare a customer order from storage#
An accepted order needs exact fresh finished contents in Restaurant Storage. You can select loose finished products, eligible existing delivery bags, or both. Use Prepare order in the order details.
Choose available products matching the order's saved contents. Restaurant packs the selected amounts within the package limits and leaves the unselected products in Storage.
For an order of one Pizza and one Fries, select exactly one of each. Raw ingredients, partly used servings, short quantities, excess products or a bag with extra unrelated contents are not an exact match. The appearance or visible label alone does not establish eligibility.
Understand reservation and Ready#
Successful order assignment2 reserves the bags for one order. The bags stay in Restaurant Storage until customer pickup or staff collection for hand delivery.
An allocated bag cannot be withdrawn as general stock, unpacked during fulfillment or assigned elsewhere. Allocation changes retire any earlier Ready approval. After packing is complete, staff must explicitly Approve for pickup.
If contents cannot be selected#
Check the logical item, fresh serving state, restaurant origin, stock availability, package reservation and order's saved quantities. Produce missing products through the normal kitchen and deposit them, then refresh the preparation selection.
For a definite manual packaging failure, inspect the original inventory and returned error. An unconfirmed transfer must stay under review; do not create another bag as compensation without evidence. See Storage, Delivery and Recovery.
