Dashboard and Reports

Read sales totals, dates and summaries with the correct role.

Use the active restaurant Owner, Manager or global Restaurant administrator for financial summaries. Detailed finance/history is restricted to Owner and global administrator. Select the correct restaurant and date period before comparing totals.

The Dashboard combines operational order information with authorized financial summaries. Read each total according to the event it measures; an order being created is different from a sale being recognized.

Open the Dashboard#

Select the restaurant and open Business > Dashboard. Choose the supported date range/filters and use Refresh when you need current data. Views load on opening, filter/page changes and actions; they do not continuously poll in the background.

Business Dashboard with revenue, operational order totals and a daily comparison chart

Business Dashboard with revenue, operational order totals and a daily comparison chart.

The screenshot uses demonstration totals. A zero chart is expected when no qualifying activity exists in that range. Select the intended restaurant and UTC period before diagnosing missing data.

Understand sales recognition#

Revenue comes from completed acceptance/settlement journals. A paid order awaiting acceptance remains in customer escrow1; it is not yet recognized sales revenue.

Daily revenue uses the acceptance timestamp. Daily order counts use order creation time and the applicable operational visibility rules. If an order is created before midnight UTC and accepted after midnight UTC, its count and revenue can appear on different days.

EventSales revenue?Why
Customer places a paid pending orderNot yetPayment is held awaiting acceptance
Staff accept a confirmed paid orderYesAcceptance settles the recognized sale
Owner deposits personal bank moneyNoTreasury funding, not a sale
Owner withdraws moneyDoes not reduce salesTreasury payout, not negative product revenue
Unaccepted/rejected payment is refundedReported separatelyIt was never recognized as an accepted sale

Do not read revenue as profit#

Restaurant has no cost/profit model or general accepted-order refund system. It does not calculate ingredient cost, labor, waste or map rent. Recognized net sales equal recognized gross sales in these reports; this is not a profit calculation.

To assess a real business margin, use your own cost records alongside the accepted-sales data. Changing a Supply price does not automatically create an accounting cost entry for every ready product.

Use the right date and role#

Persisted epochs and report boundaries use UTC. A local evening/midnight in your timezone may belong to another UTC reporting day. Compare order detail timestamps and the selected range when reconciling totals.

Global administrators, owners and active managers can receive permitted financial summaries. Employees receive the operational information without finance. An absent money card can be intentional role behavior rather than a broken chart.

Compare with detailed records#

Open Orders to inspect individual statuses and saved lines. Open Banking History when you need the logical finance operations and their account movements. Compare confirmed operation outcomes, not the number of notification messages or the number of internal journal phases.

For an unexpected difference, record the restaurant, role, selected UTC range, order reference and finance operation state. Refresh once, then trace the actual event and timestamp. An uncertain provider operation needs Recovery; changing a report filter cannot resolve it.
