French Fries combines an interactive peeling/cutting view with a shared fryer and a worktop used for scooping portions. The cooked basket is temporary food, not the final inventory product.
Place the three work areas#
Add the French Fries preset independently in a template restaurant; it does not require choosing a Hamburger starter. Review potato preparation, fryer and worktop placement.
Where the preset offers a fryer presentation, choose the supported new basket or insert for an existing map basket. Inspect the selected food-contact pose. The worktop includes its resting skimmer and carton/paper anchor; these permanent station parts remain when temporary fries are collected.
Save and publish, then approach as active staff1 with compatible hands and enough inventory capacity for the finished serving.
Settings and dependencies#

Ready preparation supplies its configured ingredients rather than consuming ordinary custom-material packets. Check Product Defaults before editing files.
Capacity, timing and cleanup#
The delivered frying duration is 15 seconds and a batch supplies four serving portions. Ready fries do not burn. Review the supported basket/insert at the fryer and the worktop skimmer/carton poses. A cooked basket is still temporary work; the inventory product is issued when a serving carton succeeds.
Change supported saved durations through the recipe form, then Save draft and Publish. For source defaults that are copied into a recipe, editing the file and restarting does not rewrite existing copies. Use a supported explicit upgrade when required, review its changed placement and publish it. Before planned restart or kitchen-changing publication, finish temporary work; see Shared Work.
Verify the installation#
- Save and publish a complete enabled recipe.
- Join with a character allowed to use it as active staff.
- Complete one preparation using French Fries Preparation.
- Check the finished item, its quantity, image and saved contents in inventory. Use a configured consumption profile to check eating or drinking.
For missing stations or placement problems, use Kitchen Problems. For a failed transfer, keep the error and check Inventory Problems. Review Shared Work before a restart or kitchen change.
