Hamburger Setup

Set up Hamburger stations, dependencies and a production check.

Hamburger uses raw patty/bread supply, a spatula, shared grill slots, a preparation surface and its own product box. Cooked patties can burn, so collection timing matters.

Set up the stations#

Add the ready Hamburger recipe. Review the spatula, patty/bread supply, cooking, assembly and packaging steps. Place the cooking point at food contact on the intended grill surface. Place the composite ingredient station and product box where staff can reach them.

Save and publish the setup with active staff1. The ready workflow provides its ingredients without consuming ordinary ingredient inventory. A custom recipe2 with a Hamburger label does not install this workflow.

Settings and dependencies#

This preset belongs to a Template restaurant. Publish all required recipe-step locations and test with an active staff character.

Ready preparation supplies its configured ingredients rather than consuming ordinary custom-material packets. Check Product Defaults before editing files.

Capacity, timing and cleanup#

The delivered cooking duration is 15 seconds with four independent patty slots. A ready patty burns after another cooking interval on the heat; burnt patties cannot become burger layers. Keep the spatula supply, bread/patty supply, grill contact, assembly and product-box steps accessible. This product box is separate from order delivery-bag packaging.

Change supported saved durations through the recipe form, then Save draft and Publish. For source defaults that are copied into a recipe, editing the file and restarting does not rewrite existing copies. Use a supported explicit upgrade when required, review its changed placement and publish it. Before planned restart or kitchen-changing publication, finish temporary work; see Shared Work.

Verify the installation#

  1. Save and publish a complete enabled recipe.
  2. Join with a character allowed to use it as active staff.
  3. Complete one preparation using Hamburger Preparation.
  4. Check the finished item, its quantity, image and saved contents in inventory. Use a configured consumption profile to check eating or drinking.

For missing stations or placement problems, use Kitchen Problems. For a failed transfer, keep the error and check Inventory Problems. Review Shared Work before a restart or kitchen change.
