French Fries Preparation

Follow French Fries preparation controls, continuation and collection.

French Fries combines an interactive peeling/cutting view with a shared fryer and a worktop used for scooping portions. The cooked basket is temporary food, not the final inventory product.

Before preparing#

Use an enabled, published station as active restaurant staff. Put away incompatible carried items before starting. Check French Fries setup if the interaction is missing.

1. Peel the potato#

Start Peel and cut potatoes. Follow the downward LMB1 swipe shown on screen. Finish each side before cutting. Complete the full swipe to count that side as peeled.

Escape leaves accepted progress available through the common continuation flow. Resuming or staff takeover rebuilds completed sides and cuts. A failed scene or departure does not grant a basket merely because the potato looked partly peeled.

2. Cut the peeled potato#

Follow the cutting stage's LMB instruction to finish the required cuts. After peeling and cutting, you carry the raw-fries basket. The close-up shows the potato details; the world view shows the basket.

The basket is unfinished food. Portion it at the worktop to receive a finished item in your provider2 inventory.

3. Load the fryer and wait#

Take the raw basket to the published fryer and load it through its available interaction. The batch becomes restaurant-owned. Wait until it is ready, then collect the cooked-fries basket with empty/compatible hands.

Ready fries do not burn. You can leave the fryer for another active staff member to collect, within the shared inactivity limit. Publishing a kitchen change, disabling the restaurant or restarting clears temporary batches without returning their ingredients.

4. Portion at the worktop#

  1. Empty the cooked basket onto the published worktop.
  2. Take the worktop's skimmer.
  3. Scoop one available portion.
  4. Pour it into the serving carton.
  5. Check the finished product in inventory after the transfer succeeds.

Scooping reserves a portion in personal carried state. Successful carton filling is the product grant. Discarding a personal basket or portion affects that carry; it does not silently erase another fryer batch or another worker's unrelated food.

If collection or serving fails#

If collection reports a full inventory and the food remains waiting, make room and try again. If the transfer result is unknown, check inventory before giving replacement fries.

Use Shared Work for continuation and deadlines. Use Placement Problems when the worktop/skimmer or fryer presentation is missing, and Inventory Problems for transfer errors.
