Hotdog Preparation

Follow Hotdog preparation controls, continuation and collection.

Hotdog is prepared on a personal spawned cart. The cart owns its grill slots, active assembly and parked food. A published spawn location and a live mobile instance1 are separate things.

Before preparing#

Use your own cart or vehicle under its configured Staff/Everyone access policy. Staff-only access requires active published membership. Check Hotdog setup if the interaction is missing.

1. Grill a sausage#

Choose a raw sausage and an empty grill slot. Each sausage cooks separately. Wait until it is ready, then use the cooked sausage for assembly.

Sausages can burn. A burnt sausage cannot satisfy a valid Hotdog assembly. Undoing a topping later does not recover the sausage's old grill job or reset its cooking history.

2. Assemble the Hotdog#

Start with a bun, add a cooked sausage, then choose the allowed toppings and condiments. Click to add each ingredient; hovering only shows its preview.

Follow the cart HUD2 for its finish, park and delivery actions. If the cart supports parking the current assembly, use an available parking position before starting another. The active assembly and parked food belong to this cart, not the shared fixed-kitchen worktop.

Undo and leave#

RMB3 first releases a held ingredient. With empty selection, it reverses the last accepted topping addition, including one increment of a repeated topping. An empty bun can be removed before a sausage is placed. After adding the cooked sausage, undo leaves the bun and sausage in place.

Press Escape to leave the view and park the current Hotdog when space is available. If parking is full, the current preparation stays on the cart. Wait for an action already in progress to finish. Use X to discard the active Hotdog; this leaves other grill slots and parked food alone.

Finish and collect#

Complete the cart's finish/delivery interaction. The server validates the accepted composition and grants the configured finished product. No ordinary ingredient inventory is consumed by this ready workflow.

If your inventory is full, make room and collect the waiting Hotdog again. If the transfer result is unknown, check inventory and ask an administrator to review it before another attempt.

Move and return#

Move the cart through its movement interaction. Its saved spawn point stays the same. Leaving the preparation view keeps the food on your cart; leaving the server or changing character removes the cart.

Use the published return flow to remove your registered instance. For the common access, movement and cleanup rules, see Food Carts and Mobile Vehicles. For a spawn denial, keep the exact error and follow Kitchen Problems.
