Soda Preparation

Follow Soda preparation controls, continuation and collection.

Soda uses one independent ready preset with a fountain, a single cup dispenser and an ice bucket. It is a simple flavor-selection workflow, separate from Coffee free mixing.

Before preparing#

Use an enabled, published station as active restaurant staff. Put away incompatible carried items before starting. Check Soda setup if the interaction is missing.

1. Take a cup#

Open the fountain through its authorized target. Use the camera/cursor to select the cup from its one dispenser bay. Soda has one standard cup size in this workflow.

The next clickable object is outlined before hover. Follow the HUD1 and finish each step2 before selecting the next part.

2. Choose a drink tap#

Click one of the physical flavor taps. Wait for dispensing to be ready. Follow the available action for your cup and wait until dispensing finishes.

You do not add repeated mixed liquids, syrups or milk here. For a recipe/free composition with repeated additions, use the appropriate Coffee or Cocktail workflow instead of treating the Soda fountain as that editor.

3. Add optional ice#

After dispensing, choose the ice bucket if you want ice. The accepted ice appears at the liquid surface. You may skip this and collect the uniced drink immediately.

The saved item details distinguish the zero-ice path from the configured iced amount. Reopening a drink retains what was accepted; it does not automatically add ice or refill a cup.

4. Fit the lid and collect#

Click the cup or use the displayed finish key. The collection transition fits the lid immediately before transferring one finished drink into inventory.

Wait for cup pickup and dispensing to finish. After collection, check the drink, flavor and image in inventory. The default PNG selection follows flavor unless a material image override replaces it.

Undo and continuation#

RMB3 undoes the last accepted step after its current work is ready: ice, then liquid, then cup as applicable. Undo changes preparation state without granting ingredients or inventory items.

Escape leaves the preparation for you or another nearby active employee to continue, keeping its flavor, completed steps and remaining wait. You can leave while an action is finishing. X discards the current preparation. The shared inactivity limit still applies.

If dispensing or collection fails#

First check the current operation and server readiness. For no image, verify that the flavor's supplied PNG was installed in the selected inventory. For an inventory error, preserve the definite/uncertain outcome and inspect the actual slot before repeating collection.

Use Shared Work, Inventory Images and Inventory Problems for the corresponding checks.
