Pasta Preparation

Follow Pasta preparation controls, continuation and collection.

Pasta begins with ready portions. There is no dough-making or rolling stage. Its three fixed steps are portion supply, shared boiling and plated preparation.

Before preparing#

Use an enabled, published station as active restaurant staff. Put away incompatible carried items before starting. Check Pasta setup if the interaction is missing.

1. Take and boil a portion#

Take a ready Pasta portion from supply. The operator holds its basket. Load an available boiling well; this frees hands and starts an unattended server job.

Wait for readiness. Another current active employee with empty hands can collect a ready basket. Cancelling collection leaves that batch available and does not clear the other well.

2. Put cooked Pasta on the plate#

Take the cooked basket to preparation and deposit it. The short basket tilt places plain Pasta on the dish, reserves that surface and frees hands. Open the preparation camera explicitly with empty hands.

The installed empty dish and active food dish are coordinated by their visual owner. Do not add another manual plate model to hide an overlapping setup error.

3. Add sauce and garnish#

Select a source container with the cursor, move the preview and deposit it with LMB1. The station provides sauce and garnish sources. Sauce uses the loaded ladle and pouring transition; the accepted sauce determines the serving variant.

Garnishes can repeat up to their individual recipe limits. Deposits must land inside the dish's valid placement area, even if the lifted preview can move outside it. One garnish does not use another garnish's separate allowance.

RMB2 first returns the held preview. With empty selection it removes the last accepted deposit. Undo preserves the earlier accepted order rather than replacing the whole dish. The resulting serving variant is recalculated from accepted contents.

4. Finish, then collect#

Press E to accept finishing and show the approved final plate. Press E separately to request the inventory transfer. A finished visual plate is still station preparation until collection succeeds.

In the collection view, RMB first reopens finishing; subsequent undo can remove the final deposit. Escape leaves accepted sauce, garnish and finishing on the station. Another authorized employee can continue; reopening a finished plate resumes collection.

Check the output and failures#

The server derives the product variant, composition and inventory image from accepted preparation. A material image override can replace the normal variant artwork for newly issued items. The Pasta consumption profile uses a plate and fork with their own attachments.

A definite transfer rejection retains the plate for supported retry. If collection cannot be confirmed, check inventory and ask an administrator to review the transfer before trying again. Shared wells, parked plates and personal basket carries have different retention rules; follow Shared Work, and use Inventory Problems for an unresolved grant.
