Donut moves from ingredient preparation to a mixer, independently timed oven shelves and a shared decoration tray. You package from the decoration station; there is no separate Donut box placement step.
Before preparing#
Use an enabled, published station as active restaurant staff. Put away incompatible carried items before starting. Check Donut setup if the interaction is missing.
1. Prepare the bowl#
Open ingredient preparation and follow the current object/HUD1 instruction. Cut the butter, add the prepared butter and complete the egg/powder/flour preparation stages offered by the scene. Use LMB2 for the active gesture rather than selecting later ingredients out of order.
Completed preparation steps remain when you leave and return. Continue from the next instruction; you do not need to repeat completed steps.
2. Mix and prepare the baking tray#
Load the prepared bowl into the mixer through its published interaction. Wait for the shared device batch. Collect the mixed dough when ready, pour it into the tray and pick up the raw Donut tray through the available interactions.
The carried bowl/tray is temporary production state. It is not a product grant and cannot satisfy an order's stored finished contents.
3. Bake and collect a shelf#
Load the raw tray into an available oven shelf. Each shelf retains its own cooking timer. Use the oven target to collect a ready shelf after it completes.
Cancelling a collection retains the ready batch. Collecting one shelf does not clear the other. Wait for the door/handoff to become available rather than issuing repeated collection attempts during another worker's transfer.
4. Decorate the baked tray#
Place the baked tray at decoration and open the view. Select glaze and apply it with LMB to the intended Donut. Sprinkle details can be toggled independently for that slot. Finish with Enter when the tray is ready.
RMB3 returns a held bottle first. With no held bottle it reverses the last completed decoration edit across slots. R resets the selected Donut; a changed reset is part of the current scene's undo history. Reapplying the same glaze does not create another meaningful undo step. Closing the view clears the undo history but keeps the tray's saved decorations.
5. Package one or the remainder#
Use the decoration object's Package one donut or Package remaining donuts action. The server derives quantity and composition from the tray; the final transfer creates the finished product4/batch presentation.
A batch's logical amount can exceed its physical inventory count. Subsequent packaging and consumption preserve the accepted per-Donut details in order. See Quantities and Consumption.
If a stage stops#
Escape leaves accepted station work; X discards the owned current preparation after acceptance. Shared batches and decoration follow Shared Work. If a completed step5 is missing when you reopen the view, note the last action and any error for support. Inspect an uncertain inventory outcome before repeating a product transfer.
